Because of her success she was able to participate at the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. She won the tournament as well on June 22 in 1985. Mohr was selected to represent Georgia and Georgia's state of Georgia for the Miss America pageant in 1986, that was held in Atlantic City New Jersey. Despite the success Mohr did not finish in the Top 10 for national title.
