Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been an Greek American columnist, author and entrepreneur for more than twenty years. She founded The Huffington Post, is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Thrive Global as well an author of fifteen novels. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, writer, journalist, TV host, and also the proprietor of The Huffington Post. Her birthplace was Greece she moved to England when she was 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The infamous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first presidency and she did it at the age of 21. In the years following her graduation, she became a prominent Conservative syndicated journalist. After a few years after that she launched The Huffington Post which featured critical commentary on the current politics. Her fame and popularity helped by attracting a variety of high-profile contributors to share their opinions on news, politics, and other topics. Arianna gained fame in 2003 when she decided to run independently during the California recall vote to succeed the Governor Davis. Apart from this she also led an Detroit project that promoted the use of fuel-efficient cars. Forbes listed her 12th in their list of the Top influential women in the media. Guardian also included the HuffingtonPost in their top 100 list in the year 2010. AOL bought The Huffington Post from AOL in the year 2011. She was then made the President of the media division at AOL. The group included several AOL-owned brands, including Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. She was born to a journalist and manager Konstantinos and his wife Elli Stasinopoulos. Though she was close with her father, it was her relationship with her mother that shaped her entire life. Through her early times, she demonstrated the qualities of a leader for which are still prominently known. In the year she turned 16, she moved from the United States to the United Kingdom and enrolled Girton College Cambridge. When she was in college and was in Cambridge Union, she joined the debate societies in the college where she eventually became its first foreign female president. Her graduation was in 1972 and she earned a Master's Degree in Economics. Following her degree she worked as a journalist-critic as well as a TV host. She appeared alongside Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she began writing her own novels with his assistance.
