Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There along with three fellow students, he formed his musical group, White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive results. In spite of always having been a fan of music, he also wanted to be the next lawyer or an physiotherapist. In order to provide for the family he spent a short time working part-time in a bakery. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition where he sang the Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. The group was then forced to disband due to this. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they would form the group One Direction after the X Test audition. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The band of five was backed by Simon Cowell. They were the first to sing Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the best contenders for the competition. But they finished in third place just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell didn't take home the prize. However, Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
