Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian, television host, as well as an actor in the US. She is best known for her work as The Talk's morning co-host. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and grew up within Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl comes out of the midst of a difficult background. She spent most her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. While growing up, Sheryl had many problems with her mom. Sheryl claimed she was once told that her mother had attacked the father of her child as she had been a little too close to him. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from the college. But her passion was comedy. She was the first woman to be a finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She began her TV professional career in 1992 when she was a regular participant for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. The show has also featured her as a host on The Talk since 2011. Also, she appears in fictional roles on series such Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
